A new Altrata study examines US donors who give to philanthropic causes. The research leverages the unique intelligence in Altrata’s WealthEngine database and reveals the characteristics and interests of donors with real estate worth at least $350,000 as well as insights on regional giving and the top 20% of donors by total giving.
This research is based on WealthEngine’s proprietary database of wealth intelligence. To obtain an in-depth view of those who donate, we examined all individuals with a total real estate value of more than $350,000 and who had made at least one charitable donation in the last three years. To gain further insights on the top donors, we selected the top 20% of such individuals by the value of their total donations over the last five years.
